Children and young people of all ages are always very welcome at Worsley Road. 

Every Sunday morning we have activities aimed at different age groups. These include Bible stories and themes, and we bring these to life in many ways such as arts and crafts, baking, science experiments, and discussions. 

The children regularly take part in worship, through reading and singing, and often lead parade services themselves. We encourage the children to take an active part in worship if they would like to. 

Often the children organise their own fundraising and charity events throughout the year. Recently these have included the Christian Aid Big Breakfast, a toy and bake sale in aid of Syrian Charity Rethink Rebuild, ‘name the toy dog’ for the Guide Dogs. They also do a fantastic job in supporting and spreading the word to help donations for local food banks and the Christmas present appeal. 

We offer a welcoming, safe, and happy place for children and young people to learn more about what it means to be a Christian. 

All of our leaders are DBS-checked and Safeguard trained.
